Peyzaj Mimarlığı yüksek lisans programı peyzaj mimarlığı alanında ulusal ve uluslararası ilişkilere açık, peyzaj planlama/tasarımı/yönetimi, doğal ve kültürel kaynak korunması ve planlaması, doğal bitki örtüsünün korunması ve değerlendirilmesi gibi farklı ancak birbirini destekleyen alanlarda, bilimsel, estetik, etik, sanatsal bakış açılarını bir araya getiren, bu süreçte teknolojik olanakları da en üst düzeyde kullanan bir programdır.

Peyzaj Mimarlığı tezli yüksek lisans programı 2014 yılında başlamış olup hala devam etmektedir.

Peyzaj planlama/tasarımı/ bitkisel materyalin değerlendirilmesi gibi konularda yerel ve küresel koşulları takip eden, araştırmaya açık, her türlü teknolojik olanakları kullanarak, disiplinler arası çalışmaları gerçekleştiren, yaptığı çalışmaları ulusal ve uluslararası platformlarda sunabilen, yaşam boyu öğrenmeye açık, bilimsel, mesleki ve etik değerlere saygılı peyzaj mimarları yetiştirmektir.

Yetiştirdiği bireylerle ulusal ölçekte tanınan ve talep edilen, eğitim sistemi ve içeriği ile peyzaj mimarlığı alanındaki uluslararası normlarla uyumluluk gösteren bir kurum olmaktır.

Sürdürülebilir, yaşanabilir, estetik, sağlıklı kırsal/ kentsel karakterli alanların planlanması, doğal kaynakların korunması, planlaması, yönetiminde ya da tasarımı konularında yeni yöntemleri bulan, araştırmaya açık, felsefesini kurabilen ileri düzeyde holistik bakış açısına sahip, bilimsel ve etik değerlere saygılı, yaşam boyu araştırma ve öğrenmeye açık, disiplinler arası çalışabilen, Peyzaj Mimarları yetiştirmektir.

a) Graduate students must have graduated from a foreign faculty or higher education institution which is at least four years in Turkey or equivalent by YOK.
