Education and training programs are organized on a semester basis. Exams consist of midterm, final and summer school final exams. In order for the student to take the final exam of the semester and summer school, he/she must have attended at least 70% of the theoretical courses and at least 80% of the laboratory and practices. Provided that it does not exceed half of the total credit amount of the program, the curriculum covering the compulsory courses is determined. It is obligatory to give courses on scientific research techniques and research and publication ethics during graduate education. Apart from this, emphasis is placed on elective and applied courses and seminars. Crediting systems such as ECTS are applied by the EYK in the evaluation of postgraduate courses, applications and other learning activities. All exams measuring proficiency, level determination or course achievement can be made on paper and simultaneously to all candidates, or they can be made in electronic environment, which allows different questions to be asked to each candidate at different times, from a question bank that is classified according to field and difficulty level and stored securely. . The full score in the exams is 100. Exams can be written, oral, written-practical and oral-practical. Exam results are entered into OBIS within fifteen days at the latest, following the end of the exam period specified in the Academic Calendar, and the institute is notified via the USA/ASD presidency. The success grade is calculated by adding 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the final exam grade at the end of the semester and summer school. In order to be successful in a course, both this total and the end of the semester, summer school final exam grade must be at least 70 points for master's degree and at least 75 points for doctorate. Thesis/art work can be written in English with the recommendation of the USA/ASD board and the decision of the EYK for foreign students in the programs whose language of instruction is Turkish at the institutes.

Students who are registered in another USA/ASD within the related institute or in graduate programs affiliated with higher education institutions outside the University and who have successfully completed at least one semester can be admitted to the graduate programs of the University through lateral transfer. Horizontal transfers are determined by the proposal of the USA/ASD presidency and the decision of the EYK. For lateral transfer, the student must meet the student admission requirements of the relevant program, have successfully completed all the courses he has attended, and the average grade point average from these courses must be at least 70 points for master's degree and at least 75 points for doctorate degree out of 100. The adjustment of the student to the program in which they are accepted is decided by the EYK, taking the opinion of the Presidency of the USA/ASD.

Students who successfully complete all the courses in the master's education plan and successfully defend their thesis on biotechnology receive their master's degree in the field of "Agricultural Biotechnology".

Students are admitted to the graduate program by making an interview. The number of students to be admitted to graduate programs and the qualifications to be sought in candidate students are announced before the beginning of each semester.
