Dear Esteemed Members, Faculty, and Beloved Students of our Institute,
As the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, we are very pleased to share with you the current status, vision, and mission of our institute. Our institute was established in 1992 and began academic activities in the Fall semester of 1994–1995. As of today, we operate with 58 graduate programs across 25 different departments. Among these programs, there are thesis-based master’s programs in 23 departments, non-thesis evening master’s programs in 5 departments, and doctoral programs in 18 departments. In addition, we offer thesis-based master’s programs in a foreign language in 3 departments and doctoral programs in a foreign language in 2 departments.
Our mission is founded on training graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills suited to the changing conditions of our country and the world by offering multidisciplinary graduate programs that respond to the evolving needs of the age. In this process, a large number of our respected academic staff participate in national and international projects, publish in leading scientific journals, and work diligently to raise our university’s position in international rankings.
Our vision is to educate academic leaders and specialists who translate knowledge into practice, create new values, possess analytical thinking skills, are entrepreneurial, and can produce solutions to problems. While adhering to our core values, we place great importance on elevating our educational and research activities from the national level to international platforms. In the future, we aim to make our institute a center recognized both nationally and internationally.
The institute develops policies with the goal of training qualified human resources at the academic level and, in this direction, supports our faculty and students throughout graduate processes. In the report that outlines the activities carried out by our institute, you can find evaluations regarding our service capacity and objectives. Accordingly, the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences has updated its 2024–2028 Strategic Plan goals and objectives, and we continue to work in harmony with our institute staff to achieve these targets.
Behind the harmony and cooperation within our unit are the strong support of you, our stakeholders, and the determined efforts of all our personnel. In the coming period, we will continue to work resolutely to maintain this positive momentum and to achieve new advances at the graduate level on behalf of our university.
