Kamu Yönetimi Anabilim Dalı, Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren bir birim olarak, kamu yönetimi alanında uzmanlaşmış bireylerin yetiştirilmesini hedefleyen bir kürsüdür.

Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi, Söke İşletme Fakültesi Kamu Yönetimi Anabilim Dalı, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü bünyesinde 2023 yılında kurulmuştur. Üniversitenin lisansüstü programlarının geliştirilmesinde, Sosyal Bilimler alanında ve Kamu yönetimi alanında uzmanlaşmış nitelikli bireylerin yetiştirilmesini hedeflemektedir. Kamu Yönetimi Anabilim Dalı akademik kadrosu ve birikimiyle öğrencilere teorik bilgilerin yanı sıra uygulamaya ilişkin, pratik becerilerin kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, kürsü bünyesinde Yönetim Bilimleri yüksek lisans programı öğrenci alımına başlamıştır.

Kamu Yönetimi Anabilim Dalı olarak misyonumuz, disiplinimizin temel prensipleri doğrultusunda, nitelikli yöneticilerin, yönetici adaylarının ve akademisyenlerin yetişmesine katkı vermektir. Lisansüstü öğrencilerin analitik düşünme becerilerini ve etik değerlerini geliştirerek uygulamaya, pratiğe uzmanlaşmış, donanımlı beşeri sermayenin oluşturulması amaçlanmaktadır.

Kamu Yönetimi Anabilim Dalı olarak vizyonumuz, alandaki bilimsel bilgi üretimine lisansüstü programıyla katkı yapmak, Kamu Yönetimi/ Yönetim Bilimi disiplinindeki gelişmeleri yakından takip ederek disipliner katkılarda bulunmaktır. Geleceğin kamu yöneticilerini ve uzmanlarını kamusal bir perspektifle yetiştirerek , etik değerlere dayalı bakış açısıyla yenilikçi çözümler üretmeyi, sürdürülebilirlik ilkelerine bağlı bireylerin yetiştirilmesini hedeflemektedir.

Kamu Yönetimi Anabilim Dalı'nın temel amacı, öğrencilere kamu yönetimi alanında uzmanlık kazandırmak, etik değerlere dayalı liderlik vasıflarıyla donatmak ve toplumsal sorunlara çözüm odaklı bir perspektif oluşturmaktır. Bu doğrultuda; uzman kamu yöneticileri, akademisyenler yetiştirmek ve disiplinin bilimsel bilgi üretimine katkı sunmaktır.

Bölüm binamız ve katımız, öğrencilerin ders çalışmaları, araştırmaları ve etkileşimleri için elverişlidir. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin projeler üzerinde çalışabileceği, grup tartışmaları düzenleyebileceği ve danışmanlarıyla etkileşimde bulunabileceği ortak bir alanımız mevcuttur. Teknolojik altyapımız, öğrencilere dijital kaynaklara ve çevrimiçi öğrenme araçlarına hızlı erişim sağlayan güçlü bir altyapı sunmaktadır. Ayrıca merkez kampüste yer alan kütüphane ve Söke İşletme Fakültesi idari binasında yer alan kütüphane de öğrencilerin ve akademisyenlerin kullanımına açıktır.

Öğrenciler çevrimiçi öğrenme platformlarına kolayca bağlanma, ücretsiz Office 365 üyeliği, kütüphanenin sahip olduğu veri tabanlarına uzaktan erişim imkanlarına sahiptir. Bu imkanlar öğrencilere ve akademisyenlere, bilimsel yayın üretme, veri analizi, proje yönetimi, ve akademik işbirliği gibi imkanlar sağlamaktadır. Çevrimiçi ders ve sunumlar için Google Teams programı kullanılmaktadır.

The Master's Program in Administrative Sciences aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of management. Master's programs in Turkey typically last for 2 years, during which students gain theoretical knowledge, practical applications, and research abilities. First Year (Course Period): The first year focuses on fundamental theoretical courses, exposing students to key topics in management. Alongside courses, students engage in seminars to discuss current issues and enhance their ability to conduct research. At the end of the first year, students are required to deliver a seminar presentation. This presentation assesses their ability to critically analyze and discuss learned topics from their perspective. Second Year (Thesis Period): The second year is dedicated to the thesis period, where students conduct in-depth research in their specific area of interest. Working closely with their thesis advisors, students conduct literature reviews, define research questions, and carry out comprehensive research related to these questions. At the conclusion of the thesis process, students defend their theses. This defense involves presenting the purpose, methodology, findings, and conclusions of their research. The Master's Program in Administrative Sciences aims to prepare students for leadership positions in management by providing a balance of theoretical knowledge, practical applications, and research experience.

To facilitate inter-program transitions, students are required to meet specific criteria, including possessing a satisfactory transcript and not having any failed courses. A satisfactory transcript reflects a student's successful academic performance in previous terms. Simultaneously, the absence of any failed courses indicates the student's eligibility for inter-program transitions. These criteria are established to assess students' academic achievements and suitability within the discipline. Inter-program transitions provide students with the opportunity to explore different academic fields, specialize in specific areas, and tailor their education to align more closely with their career objectives.

Upon successful completion of the Master's Program in Administrative Sciences, graduates are conferred with the title of "Master of Science." This degree is awarded based on the comprehensive evaluation of the in-depth knowledge, research skills, and leadership qualities acquired by students in the field of management sciences. Graduates distinguish themselves by their ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions, tackle complex management challenges, and effectively manage extensive research processes. The Master of Science degree not only signifies expertise in specific domains but also provides graduates with a strong foundation to embark on successful careers in leadership positions, both in industry and academia. Earning the Master of Science degree through the program signifies more than just specialization; it signifies a well-rounded preparation for the professional realm, equipped with critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills that extend beyond specific subject matter expertise.

It is essential to meet the conditions set forth by the Higher Education Council and Aydın Adnan Menderes University within the framework of relevant legislation.

In order for our students to obtain a master's degree, they are required to achieve a minimum average of 70 in all courses, excel in seminar presentations, and successfully defend their master's theses.
